Gearing up for a 3D Christmas
The much-talked about 3D printer has finally arrived as a consumer item. The Cube is in PC World, in time for the build up to Christmas, but at over a thousand pounds per unit, the technology is not cheap.
Time is running out for XP
Do you have any computers still running the Windows XP operating system or Office 2003? Microsoft has reminded the world that there is now less than six months to go until it ends all support for these products on 8th April 2014.

A major file sharing site, ISO Hunt, which mostly offered links to BitTorrents of pirated material, is to close down following a court settlement at which it has agreed to pay $110m (£68m) to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
The robots are coming, the robots are coming
Hong Kong University recently arranged a demonstration for the press of its 1.9m high, 150Kg robot performing a series of Tai Chi moves. Unfortunately the robot showed how truly lifelike it is by tripping over a step and breaking its ankle.
